First of all, if you are not familiar with the Newsflesh Trilogy, get familiar. As soon as possible, would be best. Seriously.
That said, for those who are familiar, I recently designed some banner/desktop art for the author, Mira Grant (
seanan_mcguire ) as a gift. Mostly of Shaun Mason (using the actor Jason Dohring's image) but there are several of Georgia Mason as well (using the actress Allison Scagliotti's image). Besides the banners, I also created a custom OST for Shaun's character, focusing on the darker, angrier, grieving side of his personality. It was truly and honor to be able to make something for Mira (who's writing skill and characters completely blow me away) and super fun to "work" with the characters. They were an excellent medium to use. I've had a lot of client work lately, and it was great to just relax and create something so special.

O.O You kinda just blew my mind there... ITS LIKE SCHROEDINGER'S CAT!!! Such a paradox could not occur without shredding the fabric of the universe as we know it!

I think Josef would hold off on the vamping out and raining down of metaphorical fires of wrath, simply because he's a curious creature, by nature. Logan would wonder why the frak he's suddenly developed a pair of twins, and proceed to make friends with his flask while swinging a crowbar experimentally. Shaun, like Josef, has seen a lot of weird crap, and probably wouldn't be too fazed. But he'd finger the shotgun in its holster, to be on the safe side. After all, he's an Irwin and would be pretty fascinated by the situation. He'd shelve the shotty for a stick and start poking.
In the end, it'd all come down to a snark war. Who would win is anybody's guess.

I think this is pretty much exactly how it'd go down. Either that, or Josef and Logan would sit back and drink, while watching Shaun go poke more things with sticks for entertainment.

Hey there, here via Seanan's link. Just wanted to say I am enjoying the hell out of the playlist (I love meeting new bands, always makes my day) and love love love that artwork. I've been having real difficulty putting a consistent face on George and that just works SO well.
I found my way here through the Google, and am currently apoplectic with glee over how apropos a choice Jason Dohring is as a base for Shaun. WELL DONE, MA'AM.
